Back in January, Austin won the Geography Bee at Summit Elementary. Then he had to take a written exam to qualify for the state bee. He scored in the top 100 in the state and has spent the last couple of months studying and preparing for the State Geography Bee. He put in much time learning and developing his knowledge of our world. We are so proud of him! He participated in the Utah STATE Geography Bee, held at Thanksgiving Point last Friday. He did wonderfully well! The opening session consisted of nine rounds. He was given nine questions and answered six of them correctly. Out of 100 students participating, he didn't quite make the top 10. The questions were so difficult and the knowledge of all the kids amazed me. It was such a fun experience and Austin looks forward to trying again next year. Way to go, Austin!

Austin... "You're the MAN"!!! What a great honor and how proud we are of you. You are all amazing young men and growing up way too fast. Of course the "little ladies" are great too and we are so excited to see you soon!
