Crazy Kids!

We enjoyed a great get-away to St. George, UT.  We hit the road bright and early at 4:00 am. on Thursday.  We arrived in Southern Utah and enjoyed the day hiking in Zions National Park.  The beauty of this area was astonishing and so different from our norm.  The kids did great and were exhausted at the end of the day.  We traveled on to St. George and arrived at the Ashcroft home.  Our kids had been looking forward to getting there all day.   After each Zions hike, they would ask, "Is it time to go to Connor's house yet?"  The kids quickly renewed friendships and jumped right into playing together.  They all got along so well together.  Our kids love the Ashcroft family. 

Morey and the biking crew biked all day Friday and Saturday morning.  So the rest of us played.....Park, Pool, Jumpin' Jacks, In-n-out Burger, etc.  The boys never seemed to get tired out however,  upon returning home each night they were ready to play the Wii for hours.  Much fun was had by all, even the girlies..Addison and Hattie were best buddies.  

Saturday we all enjoyed Snow Canyon with its hikes and sand dunes.  Carter had a birthday away from home topped off with his favorite meal... pizza.  More Wii action and other games as we spent the evening hanging out.  Every day was so jam-packed full of fun that the boys were very sad to have to return home.  Tears were shed as we bid the Ashcrofts farewell, but at least it wasn't 4:00 am.  Thanks for the great vacation.  We love you guys!
